Job description

Bilingual HR & Admin Assistant | Midlothian, VA | In-Person

Cross Creek has been rooted in this community since 1974—growing gardens, landscapes, and the people behind them. Our team of 200+ is the heartbeat of everything we do, and we're looking for someone who wants to be part of it.

If you're bilingual in Spanish and English and have a passion for helping people, we'd love to meet you.

The Role

This is a full-time, in-person position at our Midlothian nursery. You'll be the go-to person for HR and administrative support—helping new hires get started, keeping records organized, and making sure our team members (especially Spanish-speakers) always have someone in their corner.

No HR degree required. We'll teach you what you need to know.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Welcome and onboard new team members
  • Help employees navigate benefits enrollment and questions
  • Keep HR records and documentation up to date
  • Assist with payroll and timekeeping
  • Bridge communication for our Spanish-speaking employees
  • Pitch in with general office tasks as needed

You're a Great Fit If You...

  • Speak, write, read Spanish fluently (this one's a must)
  • Stay organized even when things get busy
  • Enjoy working with people from all backgrounds
  • Are comfortable with basic computer tools like Google Workspace
  • Have some office or HR experience—or are simply ready and willing to learn
  • Are comfortable coming in person 40 hours/week

What's in It for You

PTO · Health & Dental Insurance · 401(k) · Employee Discount · On-the-Job Training

We're guided by our ELF values—Experience, Local, and Family
