Job description

USI has decades of experience in energy efficient and energy management solutions. From retrofits and LED upgrades to lighting layouts, EV charging and smart building controls, we have the knowledge and proven experience to transform any space. We are currently looking for a Field Supervisor who is committed to safety and leading teams. This role is instrumental in achieving success through hard work, integrity, and developing yourself and others.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Recognize safety concerns and enforce corrective measures

·         Demonstrate knowledge of industry standards.

·         Highly motivated & proactive problem identification and provide solutions to job-related items.

·         Work with project team to provide planning of and implementation of successful project(s) from start to completion

·         Provide leadership to field crews, subcontractors, and other parties.

·         Work closely with audit and design team to complete quality audits and assist with designs.

·         Assist in completing design layouts and drawings using design software as needed.

·         Participate in pre and post project meetings regarding all facets of the project from conception to audit to design to installation to completion.

·         Ensure that safety, quality, training, employee engagement, and retention are a prime focus.

·         Perform field inspections, attend pre-installation meetings and work in the field with the team.

·         Review project progress with Project Manager to ensure that deadlines are met.

·         Complete job-related reports & inspections; daily, safety and distribute accordingly

·         Work with the Project Manager to schedule teams daily based on the project schedule/timeline

·         Coordinate and receive material deliveries as indicated on the project schedule

·         Meet with and interact with on-site customer contacts, install teams, and other project representatives as needed to discuss project(s)

·         Work closely with Project Management team to support workflow from field crew to office staff.

·         Comply with all company policies and procedures.

·         Exercise competent judgement and initiative in executing responsibilities.

·         Troubleshoot and repair on job sites, as needed.

·         Report any possible delays and/ or quality issues to the project manager

Qualifications:

·         1-2 years of Construction Supervisor experience.

·         Must be willing to travel

·         Must maintain a valid Driver’s License.

·         Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.

·         Ability to manage and schedule our crew or subcontractors

·         Enforce OSHA and other specific safety requirements on project site

·         Review installed product with emphasis on quality control

·         Highly motivated with knowledge on multiple facets of construction

·         Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize

·         Experience with Microsoft Office and other reporting software

·         Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints and shop drawings

·         Willing to expand your knowledge, be challenged and grow in a dynamic and upward trending environment.
