About the role: We are seeking a proactive and talented Loyalty & Insights Analyst who is passionate about transforming data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. This role focuses on customer loyalty, customer behavior and trends, marketing segmentation, and customer communications. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication to deliver actionable recommendations that support organizational growth and customer engagement. Reporting directly to the Loyalty and Marketing teams, the Loyalty & Insights Analyst will play a key role in identifying opportunities, measuring program effectiveness, and helping stakeholders make data-driven decisions. This individual will be responsible for translating complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights, and for developing visualizations that highlight trends, improve campaign performance, and support business objectives using self-service business intelligence tools.

Position Responsibilities
  • C ollect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and make strategic recommendations in areas such as customer loyalty, customer experience, customer segmentation, and marketing campaigns
  • Prepare various sources of data to track changes in customer behavior, including transactional, customer demographics, loyalty program measurement , digital marketing communications, engagement, and customer research to tell the story of how these changes impact business performance
  • Collaborate with internal partners to document key business needs into clearly defined requirements and project plan
  • Develop, maintain, and manage reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally amongst internal stakeholders and business partners to support and provide customer-level analytics, data accuracy, and integrity
  • Analyze customer behavior, loyalty performance, and c ustomer trends, and publish post-mortem results
  • Measure program effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve customer retention and engagement
  • Support the Director of Customer Loyalty and the Senior Customer Loyalty and Insights Manager, as well as other internal stakeholders, as needed
  • Periodic and ad hoc analysis/reporting and performance evaluation
  • Use of various analysis tools – SQL , Power BI , Excel, etc.
  • Tools and Equipment Used (not all inclusive): This position works with standard office equipment. May be required to use the following tools and equipment when working in stores or offsite: baler, hand truck, POS, industrial kitchen equipment (e.g., blast chiller, grill, knives/blades, oven, scales, etc.), and basic housekeeping/janitorial items.
  • This position works consistently at a light work level and may be asked to work on occasion at a medium or heavy work level when supporting stores or other offsite events. Frequently required to sit, walk, reach, and grasp. Occasionally required to be on their feet with a mix of standing and walking throughout the shift. Up to occasionally, dependent on location, required to climb stairs, step stool, and /or ladders.
  • Performs other tasks and duties as assigned.
What you bring as a Candidate
  • 2- 3 years of hands-on experience in retail marketing analytics, data science, BI, or data insights roles, preferably in a loyalty, direct-to-consumer, e-commerce, or SaaS business providing solutions
  • Proficiency in data access tools, business intelligence tools and advanced statistical tools required (SQL, Power BI/ Tableau, SAS or Python , HTML, Jira, etc .)
  • Strong analytical and problem - solving skills , logical and data-driven decision-making skills, detail-oriented, and able to work well within a small, dynamic data-driven team
  • Collaborative, strategic thinker and problem solver with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in agreed-upon timelines
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy, to collaborate, negotiate, and communicate effectively and professionally with cross-functional partners at all levels in the company.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
  • D emonstrated ability to think critically and adapt one’s approach to suit a particular audience or situation
  • A genuine interest in using data and analytical techniques to solve real business and consumer challenges
  • Experience developing operational reports and data visualizations for marketing teams
  • Experience in a multi-unit, high-growth retail or similar environment is highly preferred. Previous food and/or grocery-specific industry experience preferred.
  • Core understanding of basic marketing principles , CRM, and digital marketing channels.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing , Computer Science, Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience required .
Physical and Environmental Work Space

Work occurs in office, a variety of off-site environments, and in a grocery store environment, which includes surfaces that can be wet and slippery, moderate noise level, and temperature extremes in controlled environments in the cooler and freezer, and depending on location, working outside in all temperatures. There may be exposure to certain allergens and/or chemicals.
