Job description

Yamaha is currently seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator who is responsible for supporting revenue generation by actively promoting the sale of Yamaha Genuine Parts & Accessories and on select occasions, Yamaha units. This role supports the sales team by managing dealer P&A communications, processing orders, and ensuring a seamless sales experience from inquiry to fulfillment. The coordinator also monitors sales opportunities, maintains accurate records, and collaborates cross-functionally to meet and exceed sales targets.
What you'll be doing:
  • Manage 100 to 200 Dealers in assigned territory via phone & e-mail to support their Parts & Accessory needs daily. Meet inbound/outbound call metrics established by the ISM and consistently document details of all communications with dealers. Manage stocking programs, coordinate replenishment of dealer Yamalube inventory, and administer retail promotion communications for dealers in assigned territory. Annual visits with District Sales Manager to key dealers in market preferred.
  • Serve as a liaison between the dealer network and Yamaha to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Contribute to the monthly internal sales reports interfacing with the RBM / ARBM / ISM. Coordinate with regions and assist in the facilitation of updating order tools.
  • Support the Service Division and Customer Relations teams in expediting priority orders to ensure customer service needs are met for end users in time-sensitive situations.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of Yamaha products to effectively provide product information to dealers and support YMU initiatives. Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information not intended for general consumption.
  • Assist Field Sales Team members with Parts and Accessory support for both stocking programs and daily order requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally with product group teams and internal departments.
  • Attend off-site functions (corporate and required consumer facing) in support of Yamaha and Yamaha dealers as needed. Ability to work weekends to support retail as needed is a preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate Yamaha Motorsports Products, lift to up to 75 pounds and physically able to help set-up or tear down at events, as well as perform other duties as assigned.
  • Make informed decisions to achieve sales targets (monthly invoicing, sales programs, Yamalube) to support Parts & Accessory budget attainment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team. Applies sound judgement to assess and balance risk in all dealer communications.

What you need to be successful:
  • High school diploma required. BA / BS degree in Business, Sales or other related course of study preferred.
  • 2 - 3 years phone sales experience required. Inside or outside sales experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
  • Must be organized with strong attention to detail and a passion for customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to relocate is required both currently and in the future to support Yamaha needs.
