Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Specialist in San Bernardino, CA. In this role, you will support entry access systems from a software perspective, including assigning access cards. Vendor management or maintaining vendor relationships is helpful.
Duties:
* Perform detailed inventory and asset tracking of PCs, network equipment, wireless access points, and related hardware
* Reconcile assets using inventory management tools (SnipeIT preferred) and maintain accurate documentation
* Decommission and package 65+ workstation setups, including peripherals and power equipment
* Remove and document wireless access points, switches, UPS units, and other network hardware
* Support MDF/IDF and server room teardown activities, including equipment removal and network documentation
* Assist with decommissioning access control systems and related hardware
* Package, palletize, label, and prepare equipment for shipment to designated locations
* Conduct final inventory audits to ensure all assets are properly accounted for
* Support facility closeout activities, including cleanup and documentation of vacated IT spaces
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of IT support, infrastructure, network, deployment, or asset management experience
* Experience working with network hardware, wireless infrastructure, and IT asset inventories
* Familiarity with MDF/IDF environments, structured cabling, and equipment decommissioning
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed
* Experience with SnipeIT, Avigilon/Openpath, Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, or UniFi environments is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
