Job Description

Manage IT department operations and applications. Be responsible for daily operation; service to all the issues related to application, handle all the IT requests including report, application and ad hoc report requests. Manage EDI process to ensure encounters and electronic claims will load to system accurately and timely. Communicate with all the related medical groups and hospitals regarding HCC and data quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Define roles and accountabilities for staffs, within the group and in the context of the broader process/operation in support of cross-functional efforts.
  • Define performance expectations and goals for staffs.
  • Manage application and system administration supporting a wide variety of Enterprise applications and systems.
  • Identify training needs for all direct reports
  • Work with Business users to coordinate Application or environment changes
  • Facets application support for all the internal users
  • Review and coordinate changes to release process, closely work with application deployed team members.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with custom, commercial and outsourced applications including third party interfaces.
  • Identify areas for improvement
Qualifications

Education:ย 

Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline. Other degrees will be considered with appropriate background and experience.

Experience:

  • Four or more years directly related experience in healthcare application support
  • 2+ years manager experience in healthcare related business
  • 2+ years healthcare claim EDI experience, HCC and encounter collection
  • 3+ years experience in application configuration, and benefit setting
  • Understands importance of accuracy and responsiveness with a strong sense of urgency.
