Job description

Drive the technology that keeps operations connected and performing at their best. As DP World launches its new facility in Rialto, CA, we’re looking for an IT Manager to lead on-site technology support and align IT strategy with business needs.


In this role, you’ll oversee and develop a team of IT professionals, ensuring systems, support, and infrastructure are operating efficiently and meeting both technical and operational goals. This position offers the opportunity to shape how IT supports the operation - enhancing team capabilities, supporting training and development, and driving alignment with broader company initiatives through a best practices approach.

Eligibility Requirement

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

About the Role

How you will contribute

  • Manage and support direct reports to ensure functional IT specific and business objectives are met and assist the IT team in developing and maintaining team synergies, leveraging to the best advantage, the investments in resources and time.
  • Act as the escalation IT contact for business units in the assigned region.
  • Assist in the development and support of training processes for the IT Site Analysts and OSC’s.
  • Assist in communicating and coordinating IT developments with company initiatives in other areas, such as Lean Engineering, Quality Control, etc incorporating a "Best Practices" approach.
  • Provide "Knowledge Awareness" opportunities to the business unit of proposed IT solutions, and potential applicability and benefits to the specific business unit.
  • Coordinate IT activities & responsibilities with other functional IT Managers.  Provide support as it relates to ensuring sites are supported as they transition from Project Launch to Production phases.
  • Develop and control budgets for your assigned IT group within your assigned region as well as provide direction and support to the IT Site Analysts in the formulation and control of site specific budgets as related to IT expenditures.
  • Manage external customers, as appropriate, to present and support IT methodologies to allow the business units to maintain and/or acquire additional business opportunities.
  • Perform internal auditor role in conducting Quality audits in Operations as required for preparation of customer-required Quality certifications.
  • Other duties as assigned

Your Key Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology.
  • Experience in logistics or manufacturing environment in a managerial or supervisor role.
  • Ability to communicate & negotiate effectively with personnel across business units to deliver IT solutions responsive to their needs balanced with overall syncreon direction.
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Travel: Able to periodically travel off-site.
