The Manager of Information Technology is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for planning, implementing, securing, and supporting all technology systems across the organization. This leader oversees infrastructure, cybersecurity, clinical and business applications, and end‑user computing. The IT Manager ensures all systems remain secure, reliable, compliant with healthcare regulations, and aligned with organizational growth initiatives. This is an on-site position located in Evansville, IN.

Responsibilities include:

  • IT Operations & Infrastructure Ensuring continuous uptime, reliability, and performance of all systems across on‑premise and cloud environments, with readiness to support after‑hours issues in a 24/7 healthcare setting.
  • Cybersecurity & Regulatory Compliance Leading a comprehensive cybersecurity program, maintaining HIPAA compliance, managing identity security, and directing incident response and disaster recovery.
  • Clinical & Business Application Support Overseeing EMR/EHR and other clinical systems to ensure availability, performance, and alignment with patient‑care workflows.
  • IT Project Management & Strategic Technology Leadership Planning and executing system implementations, upgrades, and integrations while driving long‑term technology strategy and modernization.

Qualifications:

  • 5 Years proven experience in Healthcare IT management role
  • Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
  • Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations
  • Experience with security/compliance frameworks (HIPAA, NIST, etc)
  • Must have advanced knowledge about hardware, software, and cloud configurations
  • Understanding of identity and endpoint management methodologies
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize time and job responsibilities
  • Must be able to effectively mentor and manage team of 3
  • ITSM experience (ticketing, SLA management)
  • Must be able to effectively work alongside interdisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication ability, both written and verbal
  • Personable, patient, professional demeanor

Physical Qualifications:

  • Must be able to successfully complete a drug screen, a TB, and an employment physical.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while working on a computer.
  • Must be able to carry up to 20 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to walk/commute between all buildings located on the Holiday Health Care campus.
