License: Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred
Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
Must-Have:
- Must have GE or Siemens MRI scanner experience to be considered
- Familiarity with all non-contrast exams, routine MSK, neuro, spine, and occasional body MRI
Description:
We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team.
You must have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology.
Our ideal candidate knows how to operate the MRI machine efficiently.
You should be able to make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure.
You will coordinate with the patient's physician to ensure the results are received in a timely manner.
Additionally, you must be familiar with medical terminology.
You should be able to stand for extended periods.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable.
Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information.
Perform patient care tasks as needed.
