About the Roleย 

Talarico for Texas is hiring an Operations/IT Associate to join James Talarico's US Senate campaign. This is a full-time, paid position ideal for a highly organized and dependable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem solving. The Operations/IT Associate will support the campaign's operational and technology needs by maintaining equipment, assisting staff with technical issues, and ensuring the systems and resources that keep the campaign running are reliable and efficient.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT support to campaign staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, account access, and connectivity issues
  • Maintain technology inventory and track the distribution, return, and replacement of campaign equipment
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve technology and operational issues
  • Assist with office operations, including supply management, workspace setup, and logistical support
  • Assist with inventory management and organization of campaign technologyย 
  • Support other operational and administrative projects as assigned

Requirements

Qualificationsย 

  • Experience in political campaigns, government offices, information technology, technical support, or other relevant experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to take on a wide variety of responsibilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently while following direction and established processes
  • Comfortable with nontraditional hours, reflecting the pace and demands of a statewide campaign
  • Commitment to the mission, values, and success of the Talarico for Texas campaign
