Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Manager to oversee and manage Epic-related information systems, contracts, vendor relationships, subscription services, and associated operational activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Epic EHR systems, healthcare IT operations, contract administration, budget management, and team leadership.

This role will work closely with clinical, operational, financial, and IT stakeholders to ensure effective management of Epic applications, vendor performance, regulatory compliance, and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Information Systems & Epic Management

  • Manage Epic-related contracts, subscription services, and third-party vendor agreements.
  • Support implementation, maintenance, and expansion of Epic applications and services.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of services.
  • Monitor Epic system-related initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Contract & Vendor Management

  • Track contract performance and vendor deliverables.
  • Monitor compliance with contract requirements and service-level agreements.
  • Generate reports and performance metrics related to vendor services.
  • Support procurement activities and contract renewals.

Financial & Budget Management

  • Manage invoice processing and expense allocation across multiple departments.
  • Track project budgets, expenditures, and funding allocations.
  • Prepare budget forecasts, expenditure reports, and financial analyses.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to budget guidelines.

Leadership & Staff Management

  • Supervise and mentor professional and administrative staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development.
  • Assist with workforce planning, training, and resource allocation.
  • Foster collaboration among technical, operational, and clinical teams.

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Develop and maintain operational, financial, and vendor performance reports.
  • Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations for leadership.
  • Support policy implementation and operational enhancements.

Compliance & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and applicable healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, administrators, finance teams, and IT personnel.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Support organizational initiatives related to healthcare technology and digital transformation.

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with Epic EHR systems, including implementation, support, administration, contracting, or procurement.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supervising professional administrative or information systems staff.
  • Experience in healthcare IT, clinical operations, or healthcare information systems is preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of Epic EHR applications and workflows.
  • Experience with reporting, data analysis, and system management tools.
