Job description

Job Title: Business Systems Manager Hybrid

Job Location: Topsfield, MA or Melville, NY (Hybrid)

Salary: $130,000-$170,000/yr DOE

The Manager of Business Execution Systems is responsible for implementing, improving, and maintaining business systems that support the entire organization. This role interfaces with all operational areas—including Contracts, Program Management, Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Test, Manufacturing Engineering, SMT, Machine Shop, Stockroom, Shipping/Receiving, and Quality—to ensure workflow efficiency, data integrity, and system reliability.
The role owns the architecture and data flow of the Deltek Costpoint ERP system and leads integrations between enterprise systems.


Enterprise Systems Ownership & Integration

  • Fully own the design of system architecture and data flow for Deltek Costpoint ERP.
  • Lead integration efforts between various business systems.
  • Maintain systems currency and oversee ERP updates and migrations.

Business Process & Workflow Optimization

  • Drive workflow effectiveness to improve processes, efficiency, quality, and schedule.
  • Build, maintain, and automate workflows to reduce manual work.
  • Ensure efficient electronic, paperless workflow between design and manufacturing.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to apply AI tools.

CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Serve as liaison between end users, business units, consulting teams, corporate partners, and system OEMs.
  • Translate business needs into actionable plans and functional requirements for software OEMs.
  • Communicate user feedback, issues, and enhancement requests clearly and effectively.

Project Management

  • Manage all business system implementation projects, ensuring delivery within budgets and schedules.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), collect feedback, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Systems Administration & Data Support
  • Develop reports to support data analysis and operational visibility.
  • Manage multiple SharePoint sites and document libraries.
  • Coordinate with IT and developers to ensure solutions meet security and technical standards.

Training, Documentation & Support

  • Deliver user training and create documentation, SOPs, and basic security awareness guidelines.
  • Work with leadership to identify hardware needs and assist in selecting equipment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management with 9 years prior related experience, Masters with 7 years prior related experience. 
  • ERP System Administration experience.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP (required).
  • SharePoint experience (required).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Power Automate experience.
  • Microsoft Power BI experience.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
  • Familiarity with ISO and AS9100 standards.
