Job description

IT / Information Systems Associate

Department: Information Technology / Information Systems
Reports To: President

Position Summary

This is NOT a workstation/desktop support position. Basic experience with software upgrades and Windows based upgrades is good.

The IT / Information Systems Associate supports the company’s computer systems, software tools, and data processes. This position requires strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, the ability to learn new systems quickly, and the effective use of AI tools to improve productivity and problem-solving.

The ideal candidate is technically capable, highly organized, and able to adapt quickly to new software, processes, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft Visual Basic .NET experience a must

  • Able to create functions, modules and debug existing code that supports CCDI airflow machines.

Microsoft Office & Data Management

  • Create and maintain documents, spreadsheets, and reports using Microsoft Office.
  • Assist departments with Excel data organization, analysis, and automation.
  • Support internal documentation and knowledge management systems.
  • Help maintain structured data repositories and shared drives.

AI Tools & Digital Productivity

  • Use AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Assist in developing AI-assisted solutions for documentation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Help integrate AI tools into company workflows where appropriate.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Improve internal workflows using scripting, macros, or AI assistance.
  • Document procedures and create clear technical instructions.

Collaboration

  • Work with engineering, calibration, production, and administrative teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to learn new software systems quickly.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
