Job description

The work:

The Infor Workforce Management Lead is responsible for architecting and delivering the migration of a highly customized onpremise Infor WFM platform to the Infor Cloud. This role owns endtoend technical strategy, modernization, integrations, and delivery execution to ensure scalability, maintainability, and alignment with business requirements. Define the target-state WFM cloud architecture (multitenant or singletenant), including integration, data, security, and environment strategies. You will lead decisions on fittostandard vs. customization and drive reduction of legacy technical debt.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead modernization strategies (e.g., Java Groovy, batch eventdriven/API, custom UI Infor configuration)
  • Define upgrade and migration strategies, including version sequencing and compatibility considerations
  • Design integration architecture across HRIS, payroll, ERP, identity, and other boundary systems
  • Lead full lifecycle delivery: assessment, design, build, testing, cutover, and hypercare
  • Convert highly customized onprem WFM constructs into scalable cloud solutions
  • Oversee data conversion, including historical vs. active data, transformation rules, and reconciliation
  • Manage environment strategy for dev/test/prod, tenant management, and refresh cycles
  • Ensure delivery discipline across aggressive timelines, blackout periods, and operational constraints
  • Lead a technical team of 5-10+ engineers and coordinate with broader technical and functional teams
  • Set development standards, code quality expectations, and CI/CD governance
  • Provide handson guidance for complex design, integrations, and performance tuning
  • Manage dependencies across vendors, system integrators, and client teams
  • Serve as the primary technical advisor to client leadership
  • Translate technical decisions into business impacts (cost, risk, timeline, maintainability)
  • Validate data migration and minimize operational impacts during blackout periods
  • Support golive readiness and postgolive stabilization

Here's what you need:

  • 10+ years of enterprise application architecture experience with deep expertise in Infor WFM
  • Proven experience leading Infor WFM cloud migrations or major upgrades
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Infor Cloud (multitenant & singletenant models)
    • WFM modules such as timekeeping, scheduling, absence, and labor forecasting
    • Infor extensibility frameworks including Groovy, APIs, and configuration tools
  • Experience modernizing highly customized legacy platforms
  • Strong integration background across middleware, APIs, filebased, and eventdriven patterns
  • Demonstrated leadership of technical teams (5-10+) in complex, multisystem programs
  • Experience managing cutover activities, blackout windows, and businesscritical operations such as payroll
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with adjacent enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Maximo
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure models, security practices, and DevOps concepts
  • Prior experience working in utilities, public sector, or highly regulated environments
  • Exposure to largescale ERP or workforce transformation programs
