Job description

This requirement covers the assignment to, and the performance of a Manufacturing Engineering Planning team. Responsible for creation and maintenance of the Manufacturing Bill of Material and Order Bill of Material. Analyze engineering drawings, models, specifications, process, policies and procedures to determine and plan the practical operations and sequence, required to produce comprehensive work instructions and support documents to one or more groups. May collaborate with Designers and Production Engineers by interpreting and advising on engineering, tooling, and manufacturing requirements to produce and compliance check electronic work instructions along to include required revisions. Support management meetings, reviews and program reviews by documenting and tracking items to completion. Required Skills:
Teamcenter and/or SAP relevant to Bill of Material and/or Shop Floor Management (SFM)
iBASEt (Solumina) and/or Computer Aided Production Planning (CAPP) and/or Shop Order Maintenance (SOM)
Demonstrated understanding of engineering blueprints, process specifications and manufacturing planning. Qualifications:
• Must be experienced in standard manufacturing planning process and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and other applicable references.
• Demonstrate a technical writing aptitude.
• Possess strong communication skills, organization, scheduling and time management skills.
• Ability to utilize computer applications such as SAP, MS Office, CAPP/SFM along with model -based engineering systems; iBASEt, Teamcenter and 3DX.
