Job Summary

Bobrick is seeking a highly experienced ERP Application Analyst to serve as a trusted internal expert for our Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI) / Syteline environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on ERP professional who thrives at the intersection of business process, system architecture, and continuous improvement.

As a member of the ERP team, you will provide architectural guidance, lead complex optimization initiatives, support critical business operations, and play a key role in preparing the organization for a future migration to Infor CloudSuite Industrial. You will significantly reduce reliance on external consultants by building durable internal ERP capability while shaping the long-term evolution of Bobrick’s ERP landscape.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

Role-Specific Responsibilities – ERP Systems (Infor CloudSuite Industrial / Syteline):
System Support & Functional Troubleshooting
  • Provide day-to-day functional support for Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI) / Syteline, covering key modules across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, quality, customer service, and distribution.
  • Troubleshoot issues involving ERP configuration, workflows, transactions, costing logic, cross-module interactions, and APS planning behavior.
  • Investigate and resolve integration failures, including incomplete or failed item, order, production, inventory, or financial transactions between ERP and connected systems.
  • Support key customizations, extensions, IDOs, reports, forms, and workflows—understanding their function, dependencies, and operational impact.
  • Partner with business users to align ERP functionality with operational workflows and planning processes.
  • Serve as a senior functional subject matter expert, advising on solution options, feasibility, and future-state design.
  • Diagnose complex, cross-functional ERP issues requiring deep understanding of system architecture, data structures, and integrations.
ERP Configuration & Functional Setup
  • Configure ERP parameters, workflows, security roles, forms, and module-specific settings.
  • Document configuration decisions, functional specifications, validation steps, and the resulting business impact.
  • Recommend improvements leveraging standard CSI capabilities and ERP best practices.
  • Design scalable configurations that support enterprise-wide process alignment.
  • Evaluate and redesign legacy customizations to reduce technical debt and prepare for CloudSuite adoption.
Cloud Migration Preparation & Roadmap Support
  • Contribute to planning for Bobrick’s future migration from on-premise Syteline to Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI).
  • Identify customizations, integrations, and business processes requiring redesign for cloud readiness.
  • Support analysis of functional gaps, module readiness, and data quality requirements for cloud transition.
  • Develop functional design recommendations for cloud-compatible solutions.
  • Serve as an internal expert for assessing CloudSuite features and determining fit-to-standard approaches.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in preparing data, processes, and integrations for cloud transition.
Process Alignment & Functional Expertise
  • Support ERP-enabled processes such as order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, production, inventory management, costing, financials, and APS-supported planning.
  • Work collaboratively with business partners to identify opportunities to standardize processes and leverage ERP best practices.
  • Define future-state ERP process models aligned with best practice and cloud-first principles.
  • Lead cross-functional workshops to map enterprise processes to CSI capabilities.
Testing & Release Preparation
  • Execute functional and regression testing for ERP upgrades, patches, enhancements, and configuration changes.
  • Validate end-to-end business workflows across planning, supply chain, manufacturing, and financial processes.
Data Analysis & Exception Resolution
  • Investigate and correct data discrepancies or incomplete transactions across ERP modules.
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and document corrective actions.
  • Analyze cross-module data dependencies to support complex operational or financial issues.
User Support, Training & Documentation
  • Provide functional support for ERP users across multiple business functions.

  • Develop and deliver ERP-specific training materials, job aids, and SOPs to support system adoption and operational efficiency.

General Responsibilities:
Business Process & Requirements Management
  • Partner with functional leaders to analyze, document, and improve business processes.
  • Elicit and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and workflow analysis.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
  • Maintain a backlog of improvement opportunities, prioritizing according to IT governance guidelines.
  • Support process standardization across divisions to ensure consistency and compliance.
Application Ownership & Administration
  • Serve as an application owner or co-owner for assigned enterprise systems, ensuring alignment between business needs and system capabilities.
  • Manage system configuration, user access, roles, security settings, and application parameters in partnership with IT security and system administrators.
  • Own the application upgrade and patch release process, including planning, testing, validation, communication, documentation, and coordinating with vendors or internal teams before deployment.
  • Maintain system documentation, SOPs, configuration records, and functional specifications to ensure continuity, audit readiness, and long-term sustainability.
  • Coordinate vendor escalations, support cases, and enhancement requests, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
Project & Release Management
  • Participate in or lead projects across the enterprise application landscape from scoping to deployment.
  • Define Agile user stories, acceptance criteria, and test plans for system enhancements.
  • Support upgrades, integrations, and cross-system implementations.
  • Develop UAT plans, manage testing cycles, track results, and validate deployments.
  • Prepare release notes and training materials for major system updates.
Data Integrity & Reporting
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with IT and data teams to define data governance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using available system tools and BI platforms.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data flows between integrated systems.
User Support & Training
  • Provide functional support for enterprise applications.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on business processes and system best practices.
  • Create training materials, job aids, and knowledge base articles.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements.
Continuous Improvement & Governance
  • Identify and implement workflow automation and process optimization opportunities.
  • Support IT governance, documentation standards, and change management procedures.
  • Participate in post-implementation reviews and document lessons learned.
  • Monitor system performance and user feedback to recommend enhancements.
Strategic Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders to understand needs and anticipate future requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Act as a liaison between IT and business to ensure alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Contribute to application roadmap discussions and long-term planning.
Qualifications
 
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, Operations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on functional experience with Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI) or Syteline, including configuration and module ownership.
  • Expert-level understanding of CSI data structures, IDOs, integrations, APS, module interdependencies, and system architecture.
  • Experience leading major ERP initiatives such as module implementations, process redesign, or cloud migration planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose highly complex ERP issues spanning finance, supply chain, production, and integrations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience preparing for or supporting cloud migration initiatives
  • Experience reducing reliance on ERP consulting resources through internal capability building.
  • Understanding of CloudSuite Industrial differences from on-prem Syteline, including multi-tenant constraints and standardization requirements.
  • Experience with IDOs, forms, reports, workflows, event handlers, and integrations.
  • Exposure to workflow automation or low-code tools.
  • Interest in leveraging generative AI tools for documentation, testing, analysis, or ERP modernization.

Location: This position can either be based out of our North Hollywood, CA corporate headquarters or our Clifton Park, NY facility.

Pay: $109,000.00 - $127,000.00
