This role is responsible for leading ERP module implementations, driving system enhancements, developing advanced reporting and analytics, and partnering with business stakeholders to optimize operational processes. The ideal candidate combines deep Acumatica technical expertise with strong business acumen and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across finance, operations, manufacturing, and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities of the Acumatica ERP Manager / Solutions Architect:

  • Serve as the primary owner and administrator of the Acumatica ERP environment.

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of Acumatica modules, including Inventory, Production/Manufacturing, and Construction/Project Management.

  • Configure workflows, system settings, dashboards, reports, and business process automation within Acumatica.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable ERP solutions and system enhancements.

  • Develop and maintain custom dashboards, KPIs, analytics, and forecasting tools.

  • Partner with executive leadership and department stakeholders to align system capabilities with business objectives.

  • Drive user adoption through training, documentation, and ongoing support.

  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and identify root-cause solutions.

  • Manage ERP-related projects from requirements gathering through deployment and post-implementation support.

  • Reduce reliance on external consultants and serve as the organization's internal Acumatica expert.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve business processes through technology and automation initiatives.

Required Qualifications of the Acumatica ERP Manager / Solutions Architect:

  • Hands-on experience supporting, configuring, and administering Acumatica ERP.

  • Proven experience leading Acumatica module implementations from configuration through user adoption.

  • Experience implementing one or more of the following modules:

    • Inventory Management

    • Manufacturing / Production

    • Construction

    • Financial Management

  • Strong understanding of Acumatica architecture, workflows, data structures, reporting, and analytics.

  • Experience developing custom dashboards, reporting solutions, and business intelligence tools within Acumatica.

  • Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Experience working directly with executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Experience of the Acumatica ERP Manager / Solutions Architect:

  • Experience working with an Acumatica VAR, consulting firm, or implementation partner.

  • Background in manufacturing, construction, distribution, or project-based organizations.

  • Experience supporting large-scale project accounting, inventory management, and financial forecasting.

  • Expertise building advanced dashboards and analytical reporting tools.

  • Experience managing ERP growth and expansion initiatives within rapidly scaling organizations.

  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Seeking to transition from consulting or VAR-based work into a dedicated in-house ownership role.

  • Enjoys building long-term solutions rather than managing multiple client engagements.

  • Strong balance of technical ERP expertise and business-facing leadership skills.

  • Comfortable presenting recommendations and leading discussions with finance, operations, and executive teams.

  • Passionate about optimizing business processes through technology and data-driven decision-making.
