Significance is currently seeking senior/SME-level candidates in support of a Navy ERP implementation project. We are currently seeking functional and technical support across all SAP/Navy ERP modules and scenarios including: Finance/Controlling (FI/CO), Funds Management (FM), Asset Management (AM), Project Systems (PS), Sales & Distribution (SD), Workforce Management (HCM/WFM), Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management/Warehouse Management (IM/WM),, Acquire to Dispose (A2D), Budget to Authorize (B2A), Check In to Check Out (C2C), Plan to Perform (P2Pf), Plan to Pay (P2Py), Post to Report (P2R), and more.

THESE POSITIONS ARE MOSTLY REMOTE, BUT CANDIDATES MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL APPROX. 25% WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. CANDIDATES MUST ALSO POSSESS, OR BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE, US DOD SECRET-LEVEL SECURITY CLEARANCE.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide implementation and sustainment support across various functional and technical areas of Navy ERP/SAP
Support Business Processes Reengineering (BPR) initiatives such as As-is / To-be Process Mapping, Business Rules, and Handbook development
Deliver presentations, trainings, demonstrations, lead/facilitate meetings with stakeholders at various levels
Develop Desk Guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Policies, and Guidance
Develop test data, test plans, test cases, and scripts for UAT
Provide ERP SME support for design, development, testing, cutover, catch-up, go-live, post go-live/virtual and on-site support (OSS), and sustainment activities
 
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Candidates must possess, or be eligible to receive, US DoD Secret-level Security Clearance

TRAVEL: 25% travel may be required
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 6+ years of full-time (excluding internships) experience providing financial systems or business systems services to DoD agencies or Fortune 500 commercial companies.
  • Active Secret Clearance or be eligible to receive, US DoD Secret-level Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Information Systems.
  • Advanced understanding of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial and material modules (FI, FM, MM, IM, CO, PS, AM, & SD) for General Funds and Working Capital Funds (General Funds strong preference)
  • Experience working month end and year end close in a business office or comptroller support role, reconciliationbetween ERP external systems (DCPS, SLDCADA, DCAS, DDRS, other), and Forensic Accounting of ERP data related to the financial statements for both General Funds and Navy Working Capital Fund including Inventory, MILSTRIP, UMTs, IDOCs, PRs, POs, general ledger, Disbursements, and Collections
  • Knowledge in Entitlements - Internal and External , General Ledger, DDEF analysis, FMBB, DTS, and EDA preferred
  • Background in modernizing and optimizing financial management systems or Accountable Property System of Records (APSR), and human resource management and workload management (HRM&WM) for the Department of Navy (DON) by fully implementing ERP at the enterprise level as the system of record for the DON. NETSS also performs sustainment activities on all deployed modules within the Navy ERP system.
  • Support month end close and year end closing procedures as well as train users on close procedures, command deliverables, and schedule in ERP
  • Provide analysis and support for Navy ERP and NIA/FSA/BUPERS/BSO12/BSO52 business process requirements.
  • Experience training end users on-site or virtually and building Navy ERP desk guides, Analyzing/ranking/regression testing of Quality Center Items (QCIs)
  • Prior leadership on special projects for new enterprise architecture, configuration documents and RICE artifacts
  • Knowledge of sustainment support to end user communities by conducting operations in support of the NAVSEA Navy ERP Business Office, coordinate events, provide expert business process and ERP solution consultation, respond to inquiries, troubleshoot/resolve/and or escalate technical issues, open and close service desk tickets, correlate events and incidents for management of Information Technology (IT) and Business Operation Services.
