How much do erp recruiter jobs pay per year?

As of Jul 9, 2026, the average yearly pay for erp recruiter in the United States is $53,004.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $42,000.00 and $60,000.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What are some common challenges faced by ERP Recruiters during the hiring process?

ERP Recruiters often encounter challenges such as sourcing candidates with both technical ERP expertise and industry-specific experience, as these skill sets are in high demand and relatively scarce. Additionally, they must stay updated on various ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and understand client-specific requirements to effectively assess candidate suitability. Managing communication between candidates, hiring managers, and technical teams can also be complex, requiring strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Proactively building a robust talent pipeline and nurturing relationships with passive candidates are crucial strategies for overcoming these challenges.

What are ERP Recruiters?

ERP Recruiters are specialized recruitment professionals who focus on sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates for roles related to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. They work with organizations to understand their ERP staffing needs and identify professionals with the required technical and functional expertise. ERP Recruiters typically have a strong understanding of ERP software, industry trends, and the unique skill sets required for various ERP positions. Their responsibilities may include writing job descriptions, conducting interviews, and coordinating the hiring process. They play a crucial role in helping companies build effective ERP project teams.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an ERP Recruiter, and why are they important?

To thrive as an ERP Recruiter, you need a solid understanding of ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics), recruitment strategies, and talent sourcing, often supported by a degree in human resources or a related field. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and recruitment CRMs is typically required, and certifications like AIRS or SHRM can be beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills, strategic networking, and the ability to assess both technical and cultural fit set standout recruiters apart. These skills ensure effective talent acquisition for complex ERP roles, matching the right professionals with organizational needs in a competitive market.

ERP Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced ERP Systems Manager to lead the administration, enhancement, and implementation of our enterprise resource planning platform across manufacturing operations. This role combines technical ownership of ERP systems with strategic IT leadership to drive system stability, continuous improvement, integrations, reporting, and successful project deliveries. The ERP Systems Manager will partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure the ERP supports production, finance, supply chain, and operational objectives.

  • Implement and optimize business process management (BPMS) solutions to streamline workflows, enforce controls, and improve cross-functional processes.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and quality teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and translate business needs into system configurations or custom development.
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party consultants, including statement of work reviews, performance oversight, and contract coordination.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for change management, release management, documentation, version control, and disaster recovery of the ERP landscape.
  • Coach, mentor, and where applicable supervise a team of ERP analysts, developers, and support staff; prioritize work streams, allocate resources, and measure team performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on ERP administration and implementation experience; 2+ years in a leadership or IT manager role preferred.
  • Direct experience supporting ERP in a manufacturing environment, including production, inventory, MRP, and shop-floor integrations.
  • Strong technical skills with SQL (query writing, optimization), and experience developing or maintaining C# customizations or extensions.
  • Experience with BPMS tools and implementing process automation across cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability developing BAQs, dashboards, and operational reporting using ERP-native tools and BI platforms (Power BI, SSRS or similar).
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP integrations (APIs, middleware, EDI, web services) and managing third-party system connections.
  • Familiarity with ERP project lifecycle: requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
