Job Title: ERP Specialist
Position Reports to: ERP Business Manager
Summary:
The ERP Specialist will be responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing operational and financial data in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge, Skills, amp; Experience:
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study – Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mathematics
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Able to prioritize commitments, manage time effectively, and work independently to meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Experience and proven ability to learn and apply standard concepts, practices, and procedures
Desired Qualifications:
  • Process/systems/industrial engineering/supply chain experience or training
  • ERP experience (Sage100, SAP, Oracle, Business Central)
  • APICS certification
  • Lean Six Sigma training or certification
  • Process-oriented mindset
Essential Functions:
  • Gather operational and financial data (inventory, purchasing, labor costs) to estimate production costs and build better models in the ERP system
  • Manage projects to facilitate adoption of new material processes within ERP system (NCR/MRB process, etc.)
  • Identify inventory shortages and overages by evaluating inventory reports
  • Assist IT team with implementation of software solutions and enhancements
  • Drive standardization of master data across organization
  • Collaborate with other functional groups, including Purchasing, Product Development, Production Control, and Sales amp; Marketing regarding feedback and change requests
  • Generate reports to showcase progress and communicate findings to management and the ERP steering committee
