A growing industrial equipment provider is seeking an Industrial Sales Representative to manage and expand an established territory focused on air compressor systems and related industrial solutions throughout the Elkhart market. This is a highly relationship-driven outside sales role ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with industrial customers, developing long-term partnerships, and helping manufacturers improve operational efficiency through technical equipment solutions.

What You’ll Do


● Achieve or exceed annual sales and margin goals across industrial air compressor and equipment offerings

● Manage and grow an assigned sales territory with an existing customer base

● Spend 80%–90% of your time in the field making sales calls, developing new accounts, and strengthening existing customer relationships

● Build strong relationships with plant managers, maintenance teams, engineers, and operational decision-makers

● Identify customer needs and recommend compressed air and industrial equipment solutions tailored to their operations

● Coordinate with internal technical and regional resources to develop customer-focused system solutions across multiple product categories

● Maintain disciplined daily and weekly sales activity, territory planning, and pipeline management

● Prospect competitive accounts and identify opportunities to increase market share within the territory

● Develop strong technical product knowledge and strengthen consultative sales skills

● Maintain accurate customer information, activity tracking, and opportunity updates within CRM systems

● Collaborate with internal support teams to ensure strong communication, quote follow-up, and customer satisfaction

● Recognize customer challenges or account concerns early and take proactive corrective action


What You Bring


● Proven success in industrial outside sales or technical sales environments

● Experience within the air compressor, compressed air systems, industrial distribution, pumps, automation, industrial rentals, or similar industrial equipment industries is highly preferred

● Strong technical and mechanical aptitude

● Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
