Sales Representative โ€“ Arizona & New Mexico (Medical Equipment Sales)

Specializing in High-Tech Rehabilitation & Mobility Equipment

Commission-Based Position โ€“ Potential for Six-Figure Income


Company Overview:

Southwestern Medical Reps, Inc. is an established independent sales representative organization that specializes in high-tech rehabilitation equipment. We represent 15+ major manufacturers and are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to represent our products in the Arizona/New Mexico territory. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for helping others, especially those with mobility challenges.


Required Qualifications:

  • Based in NM or AZ or surrounding areas
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in medical sales
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently
  • Proven track record of success in strategic sales
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with diverse healthcare professionals and institutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ATP (Assistive Technology Professional) certification preferred, but not required
  • Experience in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy
  • Prior experience with wheelchair seating and mobility sales
  • Strong understanding of rehabilitation equipment and related technologies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales calls to retail home care dealers and healthcare professionals (hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, VA's)
  • Product presentations and demonstrations to Physical/Occupational Therapy Departments in hospitals, schools, Veteran Hospitals, and nursing homes
  • Collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure the best fit & solution for patients' mobility needs, each patient is unique
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in medical facilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers & suppliers we represent
  • Research and remain informed of industry standards, changes and upgrades
  • Travel within the territory as required (clients, conferences, training)
  • Organizational skills to track and manage leads, appointments, and sales goals

Job Type: Commission-Based (1099 Independent Sales Position)

Schedule: Monday to Friday
