SAP Implementation Project Team Lead II is responsible for project management as it relates to implementation and execution of SAP for the designated work stream at assigned Subsidiary locations. Partner with Global Business Process Owner, IT - COE's and Subsidiary Stakeholders for desired results. The individual will also be expected to develop detailed project plans that outline timelines, resource allocation, and project budget, manage multiple projects and/or assignments concurrently, monitor project progress and escalate issues as needed. Additionally, the team lead will provide support to existing SAP Super Users within functional areas and ensure that effective communication is maintained with project stakeholders.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project manager for all activities related to implementation of SAP for assigned project/subsidiary locations. Activities include:
  • Blueprinting (gathering requirements from the business and identifying gaps)
  • Review and maintain testing scripts for each new subsidiary rollout
  • Transfer of knowledge to Super User network at subsidiary location
  • Role Mapping/Security access to SAP
  • Business Impact Analysis
  • Monitor project throughout project phases/stage gates, escalate issues to PMO, GBPO or COE as needed
  • Coordinate communication activities that highlight and publicize plans, goals and results of the SAP project
  • Manage multiple projects and/or assignment concurrently
  • Assist with continuous improvement projects identified within own workstreams or other workstreams
  • Ensure effective communication is maintained with project stakeholders
  • Provide support to existing SAP Super Users within functional areas
  • Involvement with standard or custom report writing using BI in the OTC function, summarizing business and financial data for review by executives, managers and other stakeholders
  • Assist with annual security and segregation of duties review
  • Assist with continuous improvement projects identified within own workstream or across other work streams. This includes but is not limited to real-time break/fix support, assisting end users to resolve routine SAP problems, improving current functionality and implementing future enhancements.
  • Provide support to existing SAP Super User within functional area as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years SAP experience
  • Up to 10% travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business Intelligence (BI) Experience
  • Experience with multiple SAP modules and processes and or SME level
  • Proven track record in leading projects and driving successful outcomes
  • Experience in developing project plans, resource allocation, budgeting, and timelines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Demonstrated drive and determination to achieve success;
  • Good organization skills and time management;
  • Solid quantitative skill set and the ability to analyze, think and communicate with well-supported data;
  • Problem solving skills; with direction, help frame effective solutions;

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively across business units and functions;
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand about the industry, company and products;
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word);
  • Ability to work with a team in a fast paced, high work volume environment with emphasis on maintaining quality and timeliness.
