Description:

Maintaining the Immediate Care standard and demonstrating Character First traits through daily action at all clinics. Encouraging others to maintain a positive attitude, professional work environment and great Immediate Care culture. Communicating in a professional, tactful way when the Immediate Care standard is not being maintained. Notifying the appropriate management and discussing any circumstances where the Immediate Care standard is not being maintained.


Duties

  • Provide immediate medical attention to all patients who present themselves
  • Maintain satisfactory physical and mental health status and the ability to safely and competently practice medicine.
  • Maintain sufficient knowledge of specific procedures/treatments offered at clinic.
  • Maintain adequate clinical abilities as a practitioner.
  • Directly supervises the medical staff
  • Receive briefings and situation reports from the Chief Medical Officer and/or Clinical Director and ensures that all medical personnel are kept informed of status changes
  • Ensures a continuum of medical care and coordinating interaction with all appropriate outside medical entities
  • Report to Clinical director
  • Responsibilities
  • Punctuality: Arrive on time and stay late as necessary
  • Cooperation: Show a willingness to assist coworker & show adaptability when schedule is changed.
  • Dependability: consistently performs as a provider by carrying out duties
  • Initiative: Makes practical, workable suggestions for improvements
  • Attitude: Makes a positive contribution to morale, accepts constructive criticism positively
  • Judgment: Analyzes decisions before implementing them
Requirements:
  • Must have a license in Oklahoma to practice as a MD, DO, Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant
  • Must not have a condition which could compromise his ability to perform any of the mental and physical functions related to the requested clinical privileges.
  • Must not be denied membership or clinical privileges for any hospital system or medical staff.
  • Full disclosure of any investigation or any peer review or disciplinary action taken, such as imposition of consultation requirements, suspension, or termination.
  • Full disclosure of investigation by any governmental or other legal body.
  • Full disclosure of actions instituted at previous place of employment in process or pending.
