Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative is one of the largest electric cooperatives in the US with over 281,000 members and over 12,000 miles of energized lines. WREC's service area is located along Florida's Nature Coast in Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties and is conveniently situated between Tampa, Olando, and the gulf beaches.   • Install ground rods for new construction and maintenance for service reliability.
  • Requires physical ability in sitting, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, working overhead, bending, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, using fingers, holding, grasping, talking, and hearing, defined heavy work.
  • Requires the ability to acquire knowledge of all Cooperative's safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Requires ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and to report to work on short notice during emergency situations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
