Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use histories.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and co-occurring mental health issues.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and group therapy sessions that employ evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
• Collaborate with fellow treatment team members to provide coordinated and effective care, ensuring holistic support for clients.
• Educate clients and their families about the recovery process, involving them in therapeutic solutions and support mechanisms.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be individuals battling substance use disorders alongside various mental health diagnoses. You will engage with a diverse range of clients, including those from different backgrounds and experiences. The therapeutic work you do will directly impact their recovery journey, providing both emotional and clinical support tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications

• Current valid licensure as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a PsyD.
• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Specialized training or relevant experience in addiction counseling, enhancing your ability to address substance use issues effectively.
• Proficient knowledge of evidence-based therapies for treating substance use and co-occurring disorders.
• Demonstrated therapeutic skills along with the ability to inspire and motivate clients in their recovery.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities that foster collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or addiction treatment setting.
• Experience providing therapy in both individual and group formats, with a focus on evidence-based approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
