Inner Hope and Balance Mental Healthcare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies.

  • Employ evidence-based screening tools and methodologies to enhance the effectiveness of treatment strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
  • Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Act as a liaison with community resources, state agencies, and other service providers to ensure holistic support for clients.
  • Establish and nurture communication channels to efficiently address contract standards and promote the mission and values of Inner Hope and Balance.
  • Foster relationships with local and state organizations to explore new partnerships and funding opportunities.
  • Engage in professional development activities, including attending workshops, conferences, and representing the agency at community events.
  • Promote and embody the agency’s mission, values, principles, and philosophy in all interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the team's goals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The mental health counselor will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals recovering from substance abuse, and those impacted by developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries. Counselors will address a spectrum of mental health needs, ensuring personalized care that respects the dignity and uniqueness of each client.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
  • An independent LMHC license is essential to provide unsupervised care.
Preferred Experience
