Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Philly Family Care Center, you will:

• Provide ethical, empathetic individual counseling through secure video chat, ensuring a safe space for clients to explore their mental health issues.
• Utilize solution-focused therapeutic modalities tailored to each client, allowing for personalized treatment that addresses specific mental health challenges.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of your clients, fostering their growth and improvement in overall quality of life.
• Monitor client progress throughout the therapeutic journey, equipping them with effective coping mechanisms and insights into their emotions and relationships.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans while minimizing administrative tasks to focus on client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve primarily consist of stable, low-acuity adults facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our goal is to assist them in developing the skills necessary to enhance their overall well-being and life satisfaction. By working with a diverse demographic, you’ll be able to apply your unique expertise and interests to support individuals from various backgrounds.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must have the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A full, unrestricted license to practice independently, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No restricted or provisional licensure; candidates must be in good standing with their licensing boards.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, compassion, and strong communication abilities.
• Proficiency in computer literacy, with a comfort in using digital platforms for therapy and documentation purposes.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences would be beneficial:

• Experience in a remote therapeutic setting or comfort with teletherapy platforms.
• Background in serving diverse populations or specializations in specific mental health areas such as trauma, anxiety, or relationship counseling.

• Weekly direct deposit payments for earned income.
• A salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000 per year, based on experience and hours worked.
