Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
We are looking for a senior ServiceNow integration specialist responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex integrations between the ServiceNow platform and external enterprise systems. This role involves serving as a technical subject matter expert in integration architecture, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange across various platforms and services.
• Experience as a ServiceNow ITSM Developer and Implementing Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, or Service Catalog, Mobile App, Virtual Agent, integrations
• Ability to configure ServiceNow ITSM applications in alignment with approved design plans
• Knowledge of unit testing, system integration testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing, or any client-specific testing
• Experience with developing ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, one or more Web Services, XML, HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with SQL query creation and LDAP Query for connecting to and pulling data from Oracle, MySQL databases and AD respectively
• Worked with and understands the value in creating repeatable processes to design development, test, staging and production environments that are reliable with high availability
• Must be ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
• Should possess knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodology
• Basic knowledge with ITIL/industry standards
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Behavioral competency
• Effective communication skills with both non-technical and technical audiences (verbal and written)
• Excellent Interpersonal skills to work with the project team members collaboratively
• Participate and provide feedback during planning meetings (i.e., pre-iteration, and retrospectives)

• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CAD, Integration related CIS).

• Create and maintain import sets, transform maps, and data reconciliation logic to ensure data accuracy and normalization.
• Define integration patterns, standards, and reusable components aligned with enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Ensuring integration follows best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Support CMDB and CSDM alignment by integrating authoritative data sources and maintaining data quality.
• Monitor integrations, implement logging and error handling mechanisms, and resolve complex integration issues.
• Perform performance tuning and root cause analysis for failed or degraded integrations.
• Support system upgrades and platform releases by validating integration compatibility.
• Partner with architects, developers, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers or integration specialists.
• Document integration designs, data mappings, and operational runbooks.
Salary Range: $120,000-$160,000 a year
