Job description


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer to support the ongoing development, enhancement, and maintenance of our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise across multiple ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps) and have a strong background in scripting, integrations, and platform architecture. This role will be key to delivering solutions that align with business goals and enterprise service management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and enhancements using JavaScript, Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Policies, etc.
  • Lead the development of solutions within ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and/or other modules based on organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, BAs, and process owners to understand requirements and deliver efficient, scalable ServiceNow solutions.
  • Build and manage REST/SOAP integrations with external systems and internal tools.
  • Support platform upgrades, clone processes, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure development follows best practices, coding standards, and governance models.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolution for incidents and problems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical growth.

Required Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on development experience with ServiceNow.
  • Proven experience with JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow development frameworks.
  • Strong experience in one or more modules: ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, etc.
  • Experience creating custom applications and/or managing Scoped Apps.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
  • Knowledge of CMDB, Flow Designer, and Performance Analytics is a plus.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
  • One or more advanced certifications (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CAD, or Application Developer) preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
