Job description

IT Program Manager

The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement high level program initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.

As a natural leader, this person should excel at coordinating complex workstreams, facilitating cross functional alignment, and delegating effectively. They should bring a strong technical aptitude, enabling them to understand system impacts, engage confidently with engineering teams, and translate business needs into actionable technical direction. Ultimately, the program manager should be driven to optimize productivity, manage program level risks and dependencies, and nurture program success from inception through delivery.

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience/training
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Program Manager or similar position in a software development environment
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps, Rally, JIRA or similar tools to manage IT projects in an Agile environment
  • 7+ years of experience managing projects in a variety of computing environments (i.e. SaaS, cloud, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience converting high level business needs/requirements into system requirements

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

  • PGMP, PMP or Agile certifications preferred but not required
  • Experience delivering in-house and commercial off-the-shelf applications
  • Experience synthesizing raw data into actionable results and recommendations
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and align multiple stakeholder groups across business, technical, and leadership teams
