Our client is seeking a Citrix VDI Support Specialist to support, maintain, and enhance their virtual desktop environment, with a primary focus on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops. This role will work closely with internal IT teams to ensure a secure, stable, and high-performing VDI ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to support a highly reliable virtual experience for end users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintenance of the virtual environment.

  • Administer and update multiple virtual images within Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, including security patches and performance optimizations.

  • Partner with IT Support and Application teams to evaluate new applications, updates, and required adjustments.

  • Identify and implement image updates to improve security, standardization, stability, and user experience.

  • Plan and execute virtual image upgrades across development, test, and production environments with minimal disruption.

  • Document and communicate all changes following established change-management procedures.

  • Provide Tier 2 support for virtual environment issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

  • Create training materials and deliver knowledge transfer to IT Support teams.

  • Follow established standards and best practices while looking for ways to continuously improve processes and performance.
