Job description

Technical Sales Engineer (CNC)

Remote (Based in Los Angeles)

**We are seeking a CNC Programmer that is looking for transition to a sales/account management focused role. **You will be tasked with expanding recognition of the brand and driving revenue growth through sales and application engineering activities, both within our existing customer base and with new customers and industry partners.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a regional sales plan that aligns with corporate goals and generates regional sales revenue
  • Develop and execute strategies for increasing regional sales revenue and brand awareness
  • Communicate with customers and industry partners to build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships to maximize customer loyalty and satisfaction
  • Actively seek add-on sales opportunities through cold-calling, research, networking, and attending or representing the company at regional industry events
  • Provide technical support to customers, partners, and end-users throughout the territory
  • Consult with customers and partners on machining strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness with company products and services
  • Address questions and complaints from customers and partners in the territory
  • Maintain knowledge of company product lines and services and participate in continuing education offerings to grow knowledge within the brand
  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in manufacturing or engineering related field
  • CNC machining background (such as machinist, applications engineer, production manager)
  • CAD/CAM programming experience (eg. Mastercam, hyperMill, CamTool, Siemens NX, Tebis, etc.

You should be proficient in:

  • Troubleshooting Skills

  • CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
