Position Overview
The Human Resources Manager provides a wide variety of research and project management supporting company-wide initiatives, facilitates employee relations and works under limited supervision on complex issues, plans and programs.
Essential Job Functions
  • Oversees administration of employee benefit programs, including health, welfare, retirement, leave programs, open enrollment, vendor coordination, compliance and employee benefit communications
  • Monitors and coordinates the performance development program by utilizing the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to process evaluations and implement the program's workflow
  • Manages and resolves employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, employee conflicts, and investigations as an internal consultant to all levels of management
  • Researches, evaluates, and prepares recommendations for new HR initiatives
  • Maintains awareness of ethics laws, standards, legislation, and trends that may impact organizational HR practice
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participates in professional organizations
  • Establishes one's self as credible and trustworthy source of employees to voice concerns
  • Communicates and demonstrates support for HR decisions
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/HR related field or equivalent experience required
  • Typically requires 6+ years of related experience; 4+ years prior supervisor or manager experience

Certifications & Licenses
  • Human Resources certification is preferred, such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Society for Human Resource Management - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), and/or Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)

Salary Range:
  • $102K - $121K per year
    • This range is based on the expected level of experience and skills for this position. Final compensation will depend on individual qualifications.
    • This position is bonus eligible.
