The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.
Job Responsibilities:
POSITION OVERVIEW
Provides support to one or more functional areas of Human Resources. Assists with daily and weekly payroll and administration tasks. Other data processing may include wellness initiative and gym reimbursement information, personnel information changes in PeopleSoft, the HRIS system, and EEO-1 processing. Helps create employee communication avenues such as Employee Communication Meeting PowerPoint slides and MagnaNow slides. Assists with processing of new hire applications and hire packets. Assists Human Resource department staff with projects as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
โ€ข Filing of personnel and medical information
โ€ข Creates employee communication pieces including but not limited to the Employee Communication Meeting (ECM) HR slides and MagnaNow communication slides
โ€ข Data processing including but not limited gym reimbursements, wellness initiatives, personnel information changes in the HRIS, EEO-1 processing.
โ€ข Assists with organizing employee events.
โ€ข Assist with sorting and distributing payroll checks.
โ€ข Assists with hiring.
QUALIFICATIONS:
โ€ข Some related experience preferred
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
โ€ข High School Diploma
โ€ข Currently Attending a College or University
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
โ€ข Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
โ€ข Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:
โ€ข Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
