Software Engineer (Entry-Level to Junior) Herndon, VA $90,000-$150,000 TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph Full-Time, W-2 Employment Competitive depending on relevant professional skills and experience. Expected salary range is $90,000-$150,000 depending on experience and qualifications. 2+ years of relevant professional experience for Entry Level 5+ years of relevant professional experience for Junior Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related discipline. Current / active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph or willingness to take one. Background investigation required, including a minimum of a criminal and credit check as well as at least three professional references. Client is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team. You will work on an integrated team to build innovative software using mathematical solutions to support users in the defense and intelligence communities. This team is building innovative software using mathematical solutions to support users in the defense and intelligence communities. Client products and services contribute to missions in support of national security, provide expertise used in the latest app technology, support efforts for the health and sustainability of our planet. This position is ideal for both recent graduates and experienced individuals in the software engineering field, and offer a chance to grow and explore different technologies within a dynamic AI-driven environment. Minimum Requirements: • Must be a US citizen with a current TS/SCI clearance. • Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering or related STEM field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience. • Experiences with any of the following: Java, C++, Python, Vue.js, React, Kafka or similar, Git, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Bash, Linux • Experience developing containerized micro-services. • Experience Developing Front end Web applications • Experience Developing Backend services that use API's or a message bus to communicate. • Experience with software engineering tools (i.e., Git/Subversion, IDE). • Familiarity with the Agile development process and tools. • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Development pipelines (CI-CD Pipelines). • Ability to work in a geographically dispersed, collaborative team environment. An Excellent Candidate for this position will meet most of the following experience requirements: • Experience with formal software development methodologies (Agile) • Experience writing software implementing algorithms • Experience implementing Design Patterns • Familiarity with Aerospace Engineering and space operations General personal traits we know will connect well with the team: ● Superior communication skills ● A positive, willing attitude ● An ability to think on your feet and solve problems quickly ● Adaptability to learn new methodologies and technologies ● Comfortable working in an agile team environment ● Technology and methodology agnostic, but accepts using tools needed for the requirement ● Enjoys coaching and teaching
