As an Area Human Resources Manager, you lead HR strategy and operations across multiple Sunrise communities, ensuring strong recruitment, compliance, and team member engagement.
What You'll Do:
โ€ข Oversee full-cycle recruitment, job fairs, and hiring processes
โ€ข Ensure compliance with Sunrise Hiring Standards and employment laws
โ€ข Lead onboarding, orientation, and system access for new team members
โ€ข Maintain HRIS, ATS, personnel files, and regulatory documentation
โ€ข Manage unemployment and workers' compensation claims
โ€ข Serve as HR partner to department leaders on performance management
โ€ข Lead employee relations matters and internal investigations
โ€ข Drive team member engagement initiatives and action planning
โ€ข Deliver HR systems and policy training for front-line staff
โ€ข Maintain audit readiness and complete monthly compliance controls (MKCC)
You play a vital leadership role in building engaged teams, protecting compliance, and strengthening the team member experience across your region.
What We're Looking For:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree preferred in HR, Business, or related field
โ€ข 2+ years HR experience (senior living or healthcare preferred)
โ€ข Supervisory and employee relations experience
โ€ข Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance practices
โ€ข Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
โ€ข High integrity and attention to detail
โ€ข Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
