NOW HIRING- HR Coordinator (3-Month Contract) in Philadelphia
Job Summary
Our client is one of the local museums, actively seeking support in their Human Resource department. The HR Coordinator works closely with the HR team to provide support and assistance to museum employees and departments. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: maintaining ADP, the museum's Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and employee files, benefits administration, policy implementation, payroll support, administration of collective bargaining agreements, audits, and compliance.

Terms: 3 Month Contract
Schedule: Mon - Fri 9:30a - 5:00p (ON SITE)
Salary: $25.00 per hour
What You'll Do
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions and general HR inquiries.
  • Manage HR communications related to leaves of absence and employee departures.
  • Maintain personnel files and leave files with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Generate HR reports for internal leadership and compliance needs.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and conduct new hire orientations.
  • Assist with policy updates and communicate changes to staff.
  • Support planning and coordination of employee events.
  • Process union-related documentation and updates.
  • Support compliance activities, audits, and compensation updates.
  • Enter data into the HRIS system and ensure accuracy (ADP experience required).
  • Monitor workflow notifications and route tasks to the appropriate HR contact.
  • Assist with Open Enrollment and benefits-related processes.
  • Provide overall administrative and operational support to the HR team as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Prior Human Resources experience required.
  • Strong HRIS skills-ADP proficiency required.
  • Highly organized and detailoriented, with strong timemanagement skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customerservice oriented with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
  • Experience in a union environment is a plus.
