BASE COMPENSATION: $42,000 - $55,000 annually

POSITION SUMMARY: AtomTech is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Human Resources Recruiting Coordinator to support the organization’s talent acquisition and human resources functions. This role serves as the primary administrative support resource for recruiting activities while providing day-to-day HR coordination and employee support. The HR Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, supporting hiring events, maintaining employee records, facilitating onboarding activities and assisting with HR initiatives.

This position does not have responsibility for employee relations investigations, policy interpretation, compensation decisions, benefits administration ownership, payroll administration, compliance determinations or strategic HR planning.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a minimum of 3 years of related experience in recruiting, human resources, staffing or talent acquisition.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HCM/HRIS platforms. (Paycor, JazzHR, BambooHR, etc.)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Strong organizational, follow-through and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee information.
  • Experience supporting hiring events, job fairs or recruiting initiatives preferred.

ROLE BOUNDARIES

  • No authority to extend employment offers without approval.
  • No responsibility for disciplinary actions, investigations, compliance determinations, policy interpretation, or compensation decisions.
  • Approvals and ownership remain with:
    • HR Leadership (recruiting strategy, hiring decisions, compensation recommendations, employee relations)
    • Department Managers (candidate selection and hiring recommendations)
    • Executive Leadership (organizational planning and workforce strategy)

HOURS OF OPERATION & EXPECTATIONS: 

This position generally operates during standard business hours. Hybrid work flexibility available after a successful introductory period based on business needs, recruiting schedules, onboarding requirements and performance expectations.

REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES:

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting (Primary)

  • Create, manage and maintain job postings across recruiting platforms and company career pages.
  • Source candidates through online platforms, referrals, career fairs and cold calling efforts.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial candidate phone screenings and interview scheduling.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Support offer preparation, pre-employment screenings and onboarding coordination.
  • Participate in recruiting events, job fairs, university partnerships and community workforce initiatives.

Human Resources Administration

  • Maintain employee personnel files in accordance with company policy and record retention requirements.
  • Assist with onboarding activities, new hire paperwork, orientation scheduling and employee documentation.
  • Respond to routine employee questions regarding company policies, procedures and HR processes.
  • Prepare employment-related documents, forms and administrative communications.
  • Support HR reporting, audits and recordkeeping activities.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, training coordination and HR projects as assigned.

Systems & Administrative Support 

  • Maintain employee and applicant records within HRIS, ATS, ERP and related systems.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and timely data entry.
  • Support document management, electronic filing, and retention processes.
  • Generate recruiting and HR reports as requested.
  • Assist with process improvements and administrative workflow support.

Communication & Collaboration (Critical)

  • Communicate professionally with international-based teams, candidates, employees, hiring managers and external partners or clients as required.
  • Participate in meetings, follow-up and recruiting planning activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
