Responsibilities
Job Purpose
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for implementing, populating, administering and maintaining Pattern's primary employee data base; ensuring all employee records are compliant, complete, accurate, and up to date for all end-users and systems for which it supports, company-wide. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for creation of and providing reports, documentation, and correspondence, as requested, utilizing the data housed within HRIS.
Key Accountabilities
  • Fully utilize HR software to the company's advantage
  • Manage the Employment lifecycle within employee records and databases: ensuring that all on-boarding, termination and employee administration across all platforms is appropriately collected and managed in a timely and legally compliant manner
  • Enters all new hires, terminations, employee changes within the HRIS
  • Partner with Payroll & Compliance to ensure accuracy and consistency between HRIS and Payroll systems, including appropriate Employee enrollments, adhering to the bi-weekly pay schedule.
  • Provide information/support for Audits
  • Ensures Compliance with Federal, State, and local laws
  • Audits database on appropriate time schedule for each data point being reviewed. Provides summary of findings, outliers and concerns. Completes After Action Review with appropriate Subject Matter Expert and obtains proper approvals for any changes and adjustments to the system. Provides documentation for SME to communicate adjustment to Employee Organizes information about Salary Structure and every position the org has
  • Verify and maintain I-9 Documentation & e-Verify system
  • Maintains employee files in compliance with applicable legal requirements and documents
  • Process Yearly Import of all Merit Increases/Promotions/Adjustments (Compensation/Job Title/Performance Ratings)
  • Create and maintain org chart system and charts
  • Assist employees with HR system troubleshooting
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining file feeds across various company systems
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Experience/Qualifications/Education Required
Educational Experience
College degree in BA/BS, Business, Information Systems, and/or HR, required. Prefer 2-3 years related experience in the Human Resources Field
Additional Requirements
Must possess strengths in the following areas:
  • Demonstrated expertise in HRIS applications and administration. Able to effectively manage projects, resolve problems and meet
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with diverse customer base of Pattern operations, Pattern personnel and software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective information flow in a fast- paced work environment, though all levels of the organization. Excellent Presentation Skills a plus.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills required to assess and recommend efficiencies of HRIS input, maintenance, output and usage.
  • Ability to work independently, to be flexible as to the diversity of duties, scheduling and personnel, and to communicate pertinent information as apprioriate.

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications, especially Excel and Microsoft office and HRIS systems
  • Ability to set own priorities and to work independently and effectively in a team environment, excellent time management skills required
  • Self-starter with a can-do approach, accustomed to an entrepreneurial environment and commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Highly analytical; ability to problem-solve independently and manage time and resources effectively
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and federal, state, and local requirements
  • Knowledge of HR systems structure and interfaces

The expected starting pay range for this role is $71,000 - $95,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern's compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, voluntary benefits, family care benefits, employee assistance program, paid time off and bonding leave, paid holidays, 401(k)/RRSP retirement savings plan with employer contribution, and employee referral bonuses.
