Position Overview:

The HRIS Analyst will provide support, maintenance, and configuration of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), Workday, in addition to other systems supported by the HRIS team. This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst will report to the Sr Manager, HR Technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute system administration functions including but not limited to dashboard and report management, permission management, and configuration modifications.

  • Provide general end-user support, maintain and update user documentation, and perform routine data validation and reconciliation between systems to ensure accuracy and integrity.

  • Use knowledge of business processes and system functionality to identify ways to customize and enhance current business applications and operating systems to meet the functional needs of the business and improve business process.

  • Work with human resources and business subject matter experts to identify potential configuration enhancements and system modifications to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the systems.

  • Maintain awareness of current trends in HR systems administration with a focus on best practices in product and application support and data delivery.

  • Review and evaluate new system releases and enhancements and recommend and implement approved new functionality.

  • Provide design expertise, analysis, testing and implementation support.

  • Perform root cause analysis for system issues not operating as designed.

  • Provide input for prioritization of business-related activities and initiatives.

  • Participate in discussions on future use of technology and business process improvements.

  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding how HR data and systems support other departments and ensure data integrity and security protocols are maintained through those integrations.

  • May provide overall project management for given HR initiatives.

  • Specific areas of Workday focus may include, but are not limited to: Core HR, Benefits, Time, Absence, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Performance Enablement, VNDLY, Peakon, Integrations, and Security.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years of combined experience in HR and technology comprised of 2+ years' experience utilizing Workday to enhance HR business processes.

  • Strong knowledge of key human resources functions including benefits, payroll, and personnel administration.

  • Substantial knowledge of HR, HR systems, HR processes and their integration with technology.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, design, configure, implement & support HR data, processes and technology.

  • Ability to facilitate and lead discussions in a mixed technical and business team environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to absorb, synthesize and present information through various forms of easily understood communications to most levels of business leadership.

  • Knowledge of Workday configurations and business processes in the following areas: Core HR, Benefits, and Integrations with the ability to provide general support in one or more of the following areas: Time Tracking, Absence, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Performance Enablement, VNDLY, Peakon, People Analytics, and Security.

  • Experience with Workday report building and data analysis (calculated fields, custom reports).

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues and data discrepancies.

  • Experience in HRIS system implementation, testing, and upgrades.

  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US.

  • Expertise in MS Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or human resources field.

  • One or more Workday Pro certifications, preferably in HCM Core, Benefits, Integrations.

  • Experience with VNDLY, either as an end user managing contingent workforce processes or in a technical capacity supporting system configuration and maintenance.

  • General understanding of HRIS integrations and API workflows.

  • Experience supporting a global HR team and processes.

  • Project Management experience

  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management methodologies.

  • Experience with data security best practices, including user permissions and data privacy standards.

  • Superior knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Experience in the elicitation and formal management of requirements management for Data/Reporting projects.

Compensation Range:


The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $83,651-$122,687 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company's discretionary annual incentive plan. In addition to your pay, Entrust offers eligible colleagues and their dependents comprehensive health and well-being programs which include medical, vision, dental, a generous 401(k) matching contribution, life and disability insurance, mental health coaching, virtual fitness programs, paid personal time off plus 12 paid holidays, parental leave and education reimbursement.
