Join PALFINGER and support world-class lifting and marine solutions trusted across industries and coastlines. We are searching for an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead financial planning, reporting and analysis efforts within the organization. This role will play a critical part in driving financial transparency, ensuring compliance and supporting business decisions through insightful analysis and collaboration with cross functional teams. This position is based out of our New Iberia, LA location.
Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver financial transparency and strategic insights to senior leadership, supporting decision-making across regions and business units.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning processes, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines and execution of financial targets.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying opportunities for strategic improvement and driving process optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal governance standards, maintaining accountability as the signing authority and strengthening internal controls.
  • Oversee accounting, tax, and reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, and audit requirements while managing external stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, Procurement, IT), act as liaison between global and local entities, and support legal and administrative representation as needed.

Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's or graduate degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in Accounting, Finance, FP&A, and/or Controllership roles.
  • Strong expertise in accounting standards, financial statement preparation and analysis, and international accounting requirements.
  • Proven experience in corporate budgeting, cost management, and tax planning.
  • Leadership experience in Human Resources management and cross-functional team oversight.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and tools, including Sage, SAP, BI platforms, and project management methodologies; fluent in English with intermediate Spanish preferred.
