TriVector Services, Inc., is seeking qualified candidates to fill our Director of Business Development & Programs position.   


TriVector is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to lead our business growth and operational strategy across defense programs. This leadership role will drive new business pursuits, foster strategic partnerships, and support high-impact delivery across the Department of Defense (DoD). Based in Huntsville, Alabama, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping TriVector's market position locally and nationally through collaborative leadership and industry engagement. The responsibilities of this role include (but are not limited to): 

  • Lead business development, capture, and proposal activities for DoD and related federal service contracts. 
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue strategic opportunities aligned with TriVector's technical expertise and market objectives. 
  • Support proposal strategies, teaming arrangements, pricing inputs, and innovative solutions for new and existing contracts. 
  • Oversee execution and performance of existing contracts to ensure customer satisfaction, compliance and growth. 
  • Collaborate with technical, operational, and corporate teams to optimize capability alignment and resource deployment. 
  • Represent TriVector at local and national industry events - not limited to , conferences, and stakeholder meetings as a thought leader in defense and aerospace innovation. 
  • Provide high quality intelligence on trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics to support successful business planning and forecastings. 
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, prime contractors, and key industry partners within Huntsville and national defense markets. 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 20 years of combined experience in DoD or other federal agencies to, include program or project management, business development, and operations. 
  • Demonstrated success leading capture efforts, proposal development, or program management for multi-award IDIQ contracts or major service programs. 
  • Strong knowledge of federal acquisition processes, contracting mechanisms, and key stakeholder environments (DoD: Army, MDA, Air Force, Space Force, etc.). 
  • Extensive professional network in Huntsville and at Redstone Arsenal, and connections within national defense and aerospace agencies. 
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, with ability to influence outcomes across business and technical domains. 
  • Must have the ability to work independently while driving collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An Active Secret clearance or higher is desired. 
  • A Master's degree is preferred.
