Job description

Fern Ridge School District is accepting applications for 3.75-hour Title Instructional Assistant position. This position will include small group/individual student assistance and supervision support.  Some light cleaning and clerical work may also be required.

The successful candidate must be *highly qualified" and be able to pass a fingerprint background check with the Oregon Department of Education (cost is $87.50).  

Essential Requirements:

  • Ability to work closely with students and positively assist them with learning & behavior goals.
  • Ability to stay on a daily schedule and ensure small group instruction begins on-time.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to take direction and feedback from supervising staff.
  • Fingerprint background check with the Oregon Department of Education (cost is $87.50).  Background checks are required for each successful candidate prior to starting work.
  • Ability to multi-task and work within a flexible schedule and routine.

Compensation:

  • Anticipated Pay Range of $17.07 - $17.85 per hour depending on experience
  • PERS Eligible.
  • Vacation and Personal Days.
