Housekeeping Manager

Location: Roanoke, Indiana
Pay: $33.00$37.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: MondayFriday, 6:30 AM3:30 PM; weekends as needed

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily housekeeping operations at a large industrial automotive manufacturing facility in Roanoke, Indiana. The Housekeeping Manager will lead a team responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment while ensuring all cleaning activities meet company standards and safety regulations. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff.

  • Ensure all production areas, offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas are cleaned and maintained to company standards.

  • Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to ensure consistent service.

  • Monitor staffing levels and adjust schedules to meet operational needs.

  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and PPE; order materials as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and environmental standards.

  • Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote high performance and accountability.

  • Address employee concerns, performance issues, and attendance in a timely and professional manner.

  • Coordinate with plant leadership and other departments to support facility operations.

  • Respond to emergency cleaning situations and operational needs.

  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.

  • Work weekends and overtime as operational needs require.

Qualifications
