About the Role:

We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Element Tukwila Hotel. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will help ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas. You will assist the Director of Housekeeping in supervising a team of Room Attendants, Laundry Attendants, and Housepersons, and ensure they are trained and equipped to provide exceptional service to our guests. Your main goal will be to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for our guests to enjoy during their stay! :-)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in hotel housekeeping operations
  • 1+ years of experience in a supervisory/inspector role preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with hotel property management systems
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office applications and basic computer use
  • (Bilingual in English and Tagalog/Spanish applicants are encouraged to apply!)

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and assist in training housekeeping staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide exceptional service to our guests
  • Inspect & assist in cleaning guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained up to Marriott standards
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that guest requests are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations
  • Handle any other duties assigned as requested by the Director of Housekeeping/MOD

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift.

• Must be able to access and navigate the facility without assistance.

• Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment & footwear.

• Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
