Online AP Calculus Teacher (AB/BC)
ABC Education Group has recently launched Polaris Global Academy, an online school serving highly ambitious students from all over the world. We specialize in helping academically strong students who are looking to get ahead, stand out, and achieve big academic goals. We are seeking a part-time AP Calculus teacher for the upcoming school year.
If you're passionate about helping high school students build strong foundations in differential and integral calculus - and looking for an opportunity to join a new and growing virtual school - we invite you to apply.
This is a part-time, hourly position that is fully remote and requires no travel.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Remotely teach AP Calculus (AB and/or BC) to a small class of students.
  • Deliver 2-3 hours of live instruction each week during the academic year.
  • Guide students through free-response and multiple-choice problem sets covering limits, derivatives, integrals, and (for BC) series, in line with current College Board requirements.
  • Craft engaging asynchronous learning activities and assignments to help students stay on pace and successfully complete all AP course content and required components.
  • Utilize our LMS, College Board resources, and Zoom to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Deliver instruction using your own proven methods and materials within the confines of the official AP Calculus Course and Exam Description (CED).

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree. Master's degree preferred.
  • Direct experience teaching AP Calculus AB and/or BC.
  • Strong working knowledge of College Board scoring rubrics and exam format for AP Calculus.

Preferred:
  • Experience teaching AP Calculus in a virtual/online setting.
