What We're Looking For:

Essential Criteriaย 

  • Qualifications: Hold a recognised Speech Pathology qualification and be eligible for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA); participation in the Professional Self-Regulation (PSR) program is desirable.
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide high-level, evidence-based Speech Pathology services, clinical expertise and consultancy for complex cases across the region.
  • Supervision & Education: Mentor, supervise and support Speech Pathologists and students, while contributing to professional development, clinical education and rural workforce development.
  • Service Development: Lead and contribute to service improvement, research, evaluation and the development of consistent, high-quality Speech Pathology practices across RMCLHN.
  • Collaboration & Advocacy: Build strong multidisciplinary and community partnerships, promote client-centred and culturally safe care, and represent Speech Pathology across regional networks and relevant forums.
