Are you an Electrical Engineer looking to make an impact on large-scale industrial and commercial projects? At Hixson, you'll collaborate with a fully integrated team of architects, engineers, and project managers to design innovative facilities for some of the world's most recognized brands.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Manager of Electrical Engineering, you will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams to design electrical systems for industrial and commercial facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing lighting and lighting control systems
  • Designing low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems
  • Preparing engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Selecting and specifying electrical materials, equipment, and design methods
  • Supporting the development of control systems for mechanical and refrigeration systems
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers throughout the design process
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
  • 2-5 years of experience in electrical design and/or the A/E consulting industry
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineer Intern (EI) certification
  • Experience with Revit
