About the Role
ADF Engineering is seeking a full-time Mid-Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Dayton, OH. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer who thrives on variety and enjoys working on challenging projects that span multiple industries.

What You'll Be Doing
As an electrical engineer at ADF, you'll work closely with other engineers and designers to develop creative, efficient, and safe electrical designs for a wide range of industrial projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Lead the electrical design for low-voltage (600V and below) power distribution systems.
  • Develop one-line diagrams, lighting layouts, and specify MCCs, switchgear, and distribution panels.
  • Apply NFPA 70E, NEC, and local/state codes to meet the highest safety and design standards.
  • Conduct short circuit, arc flash, coordination, and load studies using industrystandard software (e.g., SKM, EasyPower).
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients to solve engineering challenges
  • Collaborate with clients during design, construction, and commissioning phasesoccasional travel required (<20%).
  • Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and best practices
  • Contribute to project planning, estimating, and scheduling efforts.

Mandatory Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
